8. La Salette Scripture Rosary combines the traditional elements of the Rosary with a La Salette focus. Five mysteries which relate more directly to reconciliation have been selected from among the fifteen. We select for our meditation the five mysteries which relate more directly to the La Salette call to reconciliation. This rosary invites us to pray within the context of that grace-filled event of La Salette - September 19, 1846.

A Search into the Origins and Evolution of the Charism of the Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette

This study was done to obtain my Licentiate in Spirituality from the Gregorian University. The reaction of a number of community members who read it led me to believe that it would be worthwhile to have it duplicated and made available to those interested. There is little that is new in these pages, but the material has been pulled together and presented in a perspective that is new - the search  for our charism. (Fr. This study, originally written by Msgr. E. Garon, M.S., Prefect-Apostolic of Morondava, Madagascar, was translated and adapted by Fr. Harold Clossey, M.S. in 1963. It was recently edited and published by Fr. Ron Gagne, M.S. It contains a brief but thorough explanation of many of the essential elements of the Apparition and background material necessary to appreciate the Apparition and the La Salette Missionaries.
