Reconciliation Centers:
La Salette Institute of Reconciliation, (click title), housed at the La Salette University, Santiago City, Isabela, Philippines with an extension campus in Silang, Cavite, Philippines.
The purposes of the institute include:
- to promote Peace grounded on Justice through Reconciliation;
- to offer a forum of open, safe, and free discussion of various cultures, different beliefs and divergent ideologies;
- to provide opportunities for research on the theories and practice of Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation and their related subjects, aggression, arbitration, adjudication, competition, confrontation, negotiation, mediation, collaboration, accommodation, forgiveness, and others;
- to teach Conflict Resolution, Conflict Management, Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation;
- to train in the art and science of Conflict Transformation & Reconciliation;
- to advocate Conflict Transformation and Reconciliation as a viable alternative to exploitation, domination, subjugation, oppression, abuse, violence, terrorism, war.
