Daily programs center around the theme of reconciliation:
Thursday, July 14, 2016; Theme: “Come Near” (Welcome to the Shrine)
Schedule: The evening begins with supper for the overnight guests at 6:00pm, followed by a concert at
7:30pm with Fr. André Patenaude, M.S. followed by cocktails and snacks.
Friday, July 15, 2016: Theme: “If They Are Converted” (Personal Conversion to Jesus)
Presenter: Deacon Keith Strohm, a member of the Catherine of Siena Institute in Colorado Springs, CO.
Program: Deacon Keith will explore how we can personally grow in our relationship with Christ and the Church in the modern world, making this central to our life and ministry.
Schedule: Concert by the Coastline Show Chorus, members of the Sweet Adelines, who will be competing in Las Vegas in October, 2016.
Saturday July 16, 2016; Theme: “Make this Message Known…” (Bringing Evangelization and Reconciliation to our Local Ministries);
Presenters: Tony Brandt and Chris Stewart from Casting Nets Ministry in Wichita, Kansas;
Program: Evaluating and developing our local parishes, shrines, and ministries so that they engender the proper environment for people to meet the Lord and his Church and to enflesh the values of La Salette;
Schedule: We conclude by celebrating our Eucharist (Vigil of Sunday), followed by supper and an evening conversation about our local ministries.
Sunday July 17, 2016; Theme: La Salette in our Daily Lives (A Focus on La Salette Values, Charism and lived Spirituality)
Presenters: Very Rev. Fr. René Butler, M.S., our Provincial Superior, Fr. Jim Henault, M.S., Fr. Ted Brown, M.S., and the Staff of the Attleboro Shrine;
Program: Through these discussions and presentations we will learn how our ministries can grow through our shared experiences and the ways we can support one another in our mandate to make Mary’s message known;
Schedule: We conclude the Lay Summit with concluding remarks and departure at 3:35pm. Supper will be offered for (optional) Sunday overnight guests only.
1) Registration: Attendees can register for any or all of the three specific days.
• The Program fee is $25 per day per person (or $60 per person for entire Summit), which includes a continental breakfast, lunch and supper, refreshments during the day and all conference materials.
• Registration can be made online or by contacting the Retreat Center by phone at 508-222-8530 (Monday through Friday from 9AM–4PM) or for additional information.
• Please register in advance so we can plan for numbers but we will also take walk-ins as possible each day.
2) Accommodations: Participants can choose to stay at the La Salette Retreat Center or at other nearly Hotels or Inns.
• On-Property Accommodations: If you choose to stay at the Retreat Center, note that there are a limited number of rooms and that they include a single bed with a shared bathroom. • Off-Property Accommodations: A list of accommodations in local Hotels or Inns is available on our Retreat Center website.
